Family-friendly fun activities and a chance to try golf, bowling or tennis is on offer at this weekend’s open day at the Community Sport Hub in Brodick.
Taking place on Saturday July 25 across Brodick Golf Club, Brodick Tennis Club and Brodick Bowling Club, the open day will include the Three Sport Challenge competition as well as a host of attractions for visitors.
There are 12 teams competing in the Three Sport Challenge and a prizegiving will be held at Brodick Golf clubhouse at 3.30pm.
On offer for spectators and visitors will be children’s activities and competitions, bouncy castles from McCrazy’s Castles, golf, tennis and bowling challenges, a barbecue, raffles, and the come-and-try sessions for anyone wishing to have a go at golf, bowling or tennis.
The golf challenges at the practice range will take place between 11am and 2pm. The tennis come-and-try sessions will be between 1pm and 3pm and adults and children’s bowling challenges will take place between 1pm and 3pm.
No booking is required for the family activities and everyone is invited to go along and enjoy the fun. Anyone interested in volunteering on the day can contact Ross Dobson at rossdobson@north-ayrshire.gov.uk
