An extra overnight road closure to allow BEAR Scotland operatives to complete resurfacing works on the A83 at Kilchenzie has been rescheduled for Tuesday night.
The final closure was planned for Sunday, but this was delayed first until Monday, with a further postponed until Tuesday because of poor weather conditions.
Due to narrow carriageway widths and to ensure the safety of both the workforce and members of the public, the road will be closed in both directions from 8pm and 5am.
As there is no suitable diversion route available, there will be amnesties at 10pm, midnight, 2am and 4am.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s north west representative, said: “We acknowledge the disruptive nature the delays from these recent works have had on businesses and the local community and we thank the local community and road users for their patience.”
