A new group in Lamlash is inviting residents to take part in mindfulness meetings on the island.
Seashore Inspiration Sangha, falls under the auspices of Plum Village UK, a charity which organises introductory mindfulness courses, retreats and supports a network of individuals who run mindfulness communities across the country.
Seashore Inspiration Sangha in Lamlash has been set up in accordance with the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Buddhist Master, Thich Nhat Hanh.
Its meetings will include guided meditation, walking meditation, readings, a mindful cup of tea, deep relaxation and sharing in groups.
They will take place Sundays, between 10am and noon. To take part, contact Linda Lunan by email at SeashoreInspirationSangha@gmail.com
There is no charge to attend, however, participants can make a donation if they wish. These are reinvested to purchase items the group requires to operate.
