Drivers using the A83 are facing disruption with a section of it to be closed for six hours.
In order to facilitate the construction of a new roadside barrier at Butterbridge, the road will be closed on May 6 from 10pm - 4am.
The project involves the installation of a concrete safety barrier which will provide protection to the A83 from landslide material and further enhance safety, resilience and continued operation of the road.
The construction comes following numerous landslides and closures in recent months.
In October, more than 7000 tonnes of debris fell into the road following heavy rain closing the route and trapping drivers.
BEAR Scotland, who are undertaking the construction, would like to thank motorists for their patience during these essential works.
Amnesties will be provided at midnight and 2am.
