Former Mid Argyll RFC teenager Feorlin Renton has been making her mark at her new team Stirling County under-16s girls team this season.
Feorlin, from Inveraray, joined the Stirling team in August and travels twice a week to train with her team-mates at Bridgehaugh.
Since moving to County she has played 14, and is now settling in to playing off 8; she was 9 - scrum half - in Mid Argyll so is enjoying exploring this new position within the team.
On Sunday March 24, Feorlin was one of Stirling County’s Under 16 Girls’ squad to play in the Saltire Energy Caledonia Cup finals.
Around 400 youth players, aged between 15 and 18 years, took part in the finals matches at Robert Gordon’s College in Aberdeen.
Feorlin’s team beat Perthshire RFC under 16s 27-7 to lift the Caledonia Cup.
Next for her is some rugby sevens as she heads to take part in the Girls U-15 Player Development Hub Programme for the Caledonia and Midlands Region in Dundee in April and May.
