Families in Lochgilphead and beyond are in for a treat as MAKI Pups Outdoor Nursery gears up for its Family Funday on Sunday April 28, from 1-3pm.
Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Kilmory Walled Gardens, MAKI Pups invites families to discover the wonders of outdoor education and childcare.
This event is not just a chance to explore what MAKI Pups has to offer for Early Learning and Childcare (ELC), Holiday Clubs, and After School Care, but also an opportunity for children of all ages to play outside and get inspired by nature-based activities.
MAKI Pups is currently offering ELC-funded places and private wraparound care. The business also runs a playgroup ‘Mini Pups’ for families with babies and children up to three years on Wednesdays from 10.30am-noon.
Recent upgrades to the site, including power and heating in the Hobbit House, ensure comfort even on chilly days. Exciting plans are on the horizon, with School Holiday Clubs for children aged three to eight starting in July, followed by After School Care from August onwards.
Erin Kennedy, the nursery manager, extends a warm invitation to families, urging them to explore the site, meet the team, and engage in the fantastic activities lined up for the day.
"We’re outside, so be prepared for the ever-changing Mid Argyll weather! Sensible footwear and waterproofs are recommended."
While the event is primarily aimed at families with children aged three to eight, older and younger siblings are welcome to join in the fun.
The booking link can be found on Eventbrite and the MAKI Pups Outdoor Nursery Facebook page.
