It was a busy holiday time for Argyll South Pony Club in spite of the atrocious weather.
There were several mini rallies and a dressage practise day at Dalivaddy for Campbeltown members and Mid Argyll members joined in with Argyll Riding Club events at Long Walk.
There was even a rally which turned into a Shetland Pony Festival for little riders at Brenfield Arena.
All that fun and also a major success in the Barrier Spring Festival where Cara Reilly and Russell represented the club in the Arena Eventing class and Katie Ellen Mellish won her show jumping event as well as gaining placings in other classes.
So altogether a busy and successful time for the club as the season begins.
The club’s next event is open to everybody and there are a choice of days and distances.
It is the club’s very popular Daffodil Ride at Skipness in aid of Marie Curie covering the weekend of April 27-28 – see the club’s site for poster and details.
