Arran Community and Voluntary Service’s (Arran CVS) Free for All event is returning after its launch last year.
The family-friendly day out will take place on Saturday April 27 at Arran High School between 11am and 2pm and will celebrate everything that is great and free on Arran.
Arran CVS, a charitable organisation established to co-ordinate voluntary efforts on the island, launched the Free for All event last year with more than 40 voluntary and community groups taking part.
Exhibitors included just about every governmental, community, charity and public organisation on Arran. This year, all the organisations will return to host stalls with representatives on hand to speak about their services and what benefits they can provide for the community.
In addition to meeting local voluntary groups, visitors will also get to take part in a number of free taster wellbeing workshops and fun activities including football, a bouncy castle, face-painting and various arts and crafts. There will also be a free bike giveaway for a lucky visitor.
Eco Savvy’s Zero Waste Cafe will make a welcome return, serving delicious free lunches and refreshments.
The Arran CVS initiative is aimed at providing a fun event for the whole family without needing to spend a penny whilst providing visitors with the chance to engage with others in the community.
