Local dog handler Iain McConnell has, once again, won the bulk of the local trophies at this year’s Kildonan Open Sheep Dog Trial held at Home Farm, Brodick.
Iain, with his dogs Joe and Fly, won the Maharanee Cup, Kildonan Hotel Cup, Alec Miller Trophy and Aggregate Plate and the Kingsley Cup, for coming first and second in the local categories and for coming fourth in the open category.
The trial was judged by Iain Landsbourgh Dailly and more than 40 dogs competed in the event.
