Four men charged with importing Class A drugs after half a tonne (500kg) of cocaine was found in an East Yorkshire village pub car park have been named.
Anthony McAllister, 32, of Aldersyde, Taynuilt, Daniel Livingstone, 24, of Calton Avenue in Campbeltown and Mark Moran, 22, of Glenfyne Terrace, Ardrishaig, appeared at Hull Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
They have been remanded into custody and will reappear at Hull Crown Court on June 5.
A Colombian national, 39-year-old Didier Javier Tordecilla Reyes, has also been charged and is due to appear in court at a later date.
They were in the dock following a swoop by the National Crime Agency over the weekend.
A spokesperson for the organisation says that drugs, with a street value of £40m, were found in a van in the car park of the Stags Head Inn in Lelley, East Yorkshire on Saturday.
The four men were arrested after an operation supported by Humberside Police, the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit and Border Force.
