Toberonochy community lunch served up a Valentine’s special for Luing couple Pam and Sandy Shairp who are celebrating more than 60 years of marriage.
Pam and Sandy, who have lived on the island for half a century, married in Durham in 1960.
The pair were among the 18 guests, including Luing’s oldest native resident Cathie MacKenzie, who turned up for the regular lunch in Toberonochy Hall, organised by villagers Isobel and Alan Gibson and Paula Roberts.
