Tarbert Friendship Group and the Fyne Fèis Ceilidh Band are celebrating the success of a toe-tapping joint fundraising event.
A sing-along ceilidh was held in the Tarbert Arts and Leisure Centre on April 25, featuring a host of popular Scottish songs.
A highlight of the event was violinist Sheila Campbell’s rendition of Bring Back my Bonnie To Me, complete with actions, with everyone joining in.
Malcolm Trott demonstrated how his anglo concertina worked and John Coon and Muriel MacKaveney completed the quartet on guitars.
During the afternoon, tea, coffee and home-baking was provided by the Friendship Group, whose members meet every Thursday from 1pm-3pm.
Group members enjoy a good blether, as well as quizzes, bingo, qigong, bowls and darts as well as visits from musicians and visits to local eateries and gardens.
