Both P4-5 and P6-7 National Shinty qualifiers (Lochaber) were very well attended.
Teams from Banavie, Bun-sgoil Ghàidhlig Loch Abar (BSGLA), Caol, Spean bridge, Inverlochy, Lundavra and Ballachulish all competed at a very high standard with some fantastic play on display.
The P4-5 tournament took place over the weekend of February 14/15 and went down to a play off between Banavie and BSGLA but after a 3-0 win BSGLA came out the clear winners.
This weekend past, February 21/22, saw the P6-7 teams in action. This was also a close contest and Banavie came out the winning team despite BSGLA and Lundavra being close on their tails.
The National Finals will be held in Fort William this Friday, February 27, and will see BSGLA and Banavie compete against the top teams in their age group from across Scotland.
All the best to our local teams and coaches.
