A new champion has been crowned in the Oban and District Darts League as season nine concludes.
In a fast past short season, the winter edition has been six weeks of ups and downs, but for one man it was a golden run.
Andrew ’Boza’ Ritchie has claimed the league title, winning three of the six weeks in the process.
His tally of 48 points puts him eight clear of second placed Adam Brook and 20 clear of third placed Moray MacNiven.
In what became a two horse race it was Ritchie’s bonus point scoring bonanza which secured him the win.
The week six tournament saw Boza fall in the semi finals and seven time champ Brook take the win to close the point gap, but Ritchie’s consistent high finishes were too much to overcome.
Congrats to Andrew Ritchie on becoming season nine champ.
