The venue for a Holyrood election hustings in Fort William on Thursday April 2 has moved once more, from the Nevis Centre to the Waterfront Lodge on Carmichael Way.
The hustings host, the West Highland Chamber of Commerce, said the venue had to be changed due to heating system issues.
The venue has had to change twice, first from the Ben Nevis Hotel to the Nevis Centre, and now to the Waterfront Lodge.
News of the latest venue change came today, unfortunately after this week’s Lochaber Times went to press, meaning the article published in the paper tomorrow (Thursday April 2) will now incorrectly say the hustings is in the Nevis Centre, rather than the correct venue, the Waterfront Lodge.
The event, chaired by the Chamber’s President Sarah Riddle, runs from 7-8:30pm.
"Who will get your vote on May 7?" the Chamber asked: "Come along to hear the candidates from the major parties outline their key commitments, and ask your questions on the night!"
There will be representatives from all major parties in the Skye, Lochaber and Badenoch constituency:
Isla McCay – Scottish Labour
Eilidh Munro - Scottish National Party
Edward Mountain – Scottish Conservatives (regional MSP speaking for Helen Crawford)
Andrew Baxter – Scottish Liberal Democrats
Jon Whitton - Reform UK Scotland
Seating is limited, so the Chamber invites you to register now to secure your place via its website.
