Hollywood stars have been shining in Skye and Lochaber over the past couple of weeks as parts of the remake of 80s cult classic Highlander is shot at various locations.
Last week A-listers such as Henry Cavill, who plays immortal warrior Connor MacLeod in the new version, Russell Crowe (Ramirez) and Inverness-born Karen Gillan were spotted during filming on the Isle of Skye while Gladiator star Crowe was also filmed stocking up on his messages at Morrisons Fort William.
Several stars, including WWE champ Drew McIntyre, were spotted filming at Eilean Donan Castle, which was used in the original film.
A number of car parks in the Trotternish area were closed to visitors during the filming including Kilt Rock, The Quiraing and Storr car park.
Preparations were also taking place at Glen Nevis where filming is expected to resume in the near future.

The original film released in 1986 starred Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery and portrayed the climax of an ancient battle between immortal warriors, unfolding through interwoven past and present-day storylines.
After steadily gaining popularity upon its release, the film spawned multiple sequels, as well as a TV series and an enduring fanbase.
The new version is due for release in cinemas by Amazon MGM Studios under the United Artists banner in 2027.
