BBC Scotland’s Debate Night programme is coming to Fort William and host Stephen Jardine is inviting members of the Lochaber community to go along and take part.
For the next two months the programme is travelling around the country on Wednesday evenings and would love to welcome local audiences.
"We want the people from across Highland to have their say in a political discussion show," said Stephen.
Debate Night will land at the Nevis Centre on Wednesday February 11 and to apply for free studio tickets all you have to do is visit bbc.co.uk/debatenight and select 11 February - Fort William.
Filling out the online application takes two minutes! It’s also accessible via mobile or tablet. If you would like to attend with somebody, please ask them to apply too.
"Debate Night is the only television programme of its kind in Scotland," added Stephen.
"It gives you the opportunity to put your questions to the country’s decision-makers and public figures.
"We want people from all walks of life. You might be a parent, a carer or a student. Perhaps you run a business or are a frontline worker. Retired, self-employed, unemployed or just starting out in the workplace - we need you.
"It’s your questions, stories, experiences and opinions that lead our discussion - so we couldn’t do it without you."
Recent guests at Debate Night alongside politicians include award-winning actor Brian Cox, TV stars Patrick Grant and Jane McCarry from Still Game, football stars Pat Nevin and David Martindale, authors Val McDermid and AL Kennedy, musicians Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue) and Stuart Murdoch (Belle & Sebastian), entrepreneurs Sir Tom Hunter, Alan Savage and Lord Sugar’s advisor Mike Soutar from The Apprentice.
