This November, Glasgow will be filled with Christmas magic as the city welcomes a brand-new festive gift fair, Deck the Halls. From 28th-30th November, the SEC will transform into a three-day winter wonderland of shopping, craft and Christmas inspiration- open from 10:00am - 5pm, with tickets available now.
Created in partnership with the National Trust for Scotland, Deck the Halls is the perfect place to start the festive season. You’ll wander through sparkling displays of innovative gifts and homeware, have the opportunity to take part in creative workshops and enjoy expert talks and demonstrations in the Noel & Tell Theatre.
Whether you want to kick off your Christmas shopping, discover unique brands, or simply soak up the festive atmosphere while enjoying some holiday treats, this show promises to capture the warmth, creativity and spirit of Christmas.

Behind the sparkling lights and festive cheer of Deck the Halls is a small but passionate team of five, based in the tranquil village of Port of Menteith in Stirlingshire. For 17 years, this team has been bringing creatives together through Scotland’s Trade Fairs, connecting makers, retailers and entrepreneurs from across the country- and now they’re channeling that same passion into Deck the Halls, an elegant new showcase celebrating Scotland’s finest brands and the magic of the season.
As a small business themselves, the organisers understand the value of collaboration and community. Deck the Halls proudly champions local businesses and independent brands, from the Highlands to the Islands and beyond, positioning them alongside some of the most recognised names in their industries to create a vibrant, high-quality shopping experience.
You can expect a beautifully curated selection of design, fine food and drink, wellbeing, fashion and lifestyle pieces. Every detail of the event reflects the team’s dedication to craftsmanship, creativity and connection, ensuring a truly memorable start to the festive season.

Stepping through the doors at Deck the Halls you’ll find a festive haven brimming with style, sparkle, and inspiration. This event has been curated to present Christmas shopping at its best- relaxed, thoughtfully selected, and unique. Whether you’re searching for meaningful gifts, seasonal treats, or a little indulgence for yourself, the show floor offers a wealth of ideas to make this Christmas special.
Over 100 exhibitors will fill the SEC with everything from fine foods and artisan drinks to homeware, fashion, and festive décor. It’s the perfect place to browse, sample, and shop. You can expect a seamless mix of established names and emerging talent, each chosen for their quality, craftsmanship and a touch of seasonal flair.
For those seeking thoughtful, stylish gifts, highlights include Lightstyle London, Selbrae House, CloudWine, Oat & Thistle, Sandra Vick, Silver Sparrow Jewellery, The Crafty Kit Company, and WoolKind - offering everything from luxury homewares to artisan jewellery and gorgeous fashions.
Food and drink lovers will also be spoiled, with festive treats and tastings from Angels Dare Cocktails, Three Sisters Bake, Hungry Squirrel, Biggar Gin, Everything Chilli, and Angus Alchemy. Whether browsing something indulgent for yourself or a memorable gift for a loved one, there’s something to delight every taste and style.

And for those trickier names on your list, there’s even an on-site voucher stationwhere you can pick up thoughtful gift cards for luxury hotels, local restaurants, and experience days.
Beyond shopping, Deck the Halls invites visitors to immerse themselves in creativity. The Tinsel & Twine Workshops offer hands-on sessions where you can craft gorgeous holiday wreaths with Briar & Rose, add a personal touch to your Christmas with a watercolour card and tag session with Kim Creates. You can also indulge in a festive wine tasting with The Good Spirits Company or learn the art of beautiful presentation in a luxury gift-wrapping masterclass with Jane Means.
Meanwhile, the Noel & Tell Theatre will host an inspiring line-up of live talks, demos, and discussions. From cocktail masterclasses featuring Craobh Gin and North Uist Distillery - where you can learn to mix the perfect festive tipple - to styling sessions with the lovely Tanya Suki and cookery showcases from one of Scotland’s most exciting food influencers, Renu Bhardwaj.
A particular highlight comes from Waterstones, who will curate a cosy corner of bookish delight, hosting multiple authors throughout the event. You can hear from Alison Niven, owner of Gloagburn farmshop and author of Gloagburn, and Julie Lin, the celebrated Malaysian-Scottish chef behind Sama Sama, as they share the stories, flavours and inspiration behind their cookbooks. It’s a perfect pause in a day of shopping- a moment to unwind, discover something new, and soak up the spirit of the season.
And there’s even more to come- with additional exhibitors, workshops and theatre sessions still to be announced in the weeks ahead.
More than just a shopping trip, Deck the Halls is designed to be a full festive day out. From mouthwatering seasonal food and drink offerings to photo-ready installations throughout the venue, it’s a feel-good celebration from start to finish. Whether you’re visiting with friends for a fun-filled day, flying solo for some peaceful present-hunting, or bringing a loved one along for a little Christmas magic, the show promises atmosphere, warmth, and a good dose of holiday cheer.
