Fort William, Skye, Lochaber, Kinlochshiel and Kilmallie were amongst the clubs who all learned their fate when the new shinty fixture list was released.
The new shinty season starts on Saturday March 7 and Fort William’s first competitive match under new manager Scott McNeil is against Caberfeidh at An Aird before they head off to Skye the week after.
Kyles Athletic visit the Fort on Saturday March 21 before another journey west the week after to play Kinlochshiel.
The Fort are also on the look-out for preseason friendly opponents for Saturday February 28. They were due to play Caberfeidh that day but only on the proviso that they didn’t meet early in the new season in the league.
However, as the new fixture list has paired the sides on the opening day of the season the friendly has been scrubbed.
Skye Camanachd’s first opponents are reigning champions Kingussie at The Dell before Fort William visit Portree a week later.
Skye play Badenoch opposition again the week after, this time against Newtonmore in Portree before a trip to Col Glen at the end of the month.
Manager Kenny MacLeod said: "Our first three games are against sides who finished in the top four last season but we all can’t wait to get started."
Newly promoted Lochaber, Mowi National Division champions and Ferguson Transport & Shipping Balliemore Cup holders, mark their return to the Mowi Premiership with a game against Kyles Athletic at Spean Bridge.
The red and whites play their first away game against Newtonmore at The Eilan the week after. Kinlochshiel (home) and Caberfeidh (away) round off the month.
Kinlochshiel start their season with a trip to Glendaruel to take on newly promoted Col Glen before hosting champions Kingussie a week later.
Shiel visit Spean Bridge to play Lochaber on Saturday March 21 and close the month at home to Fort William.
In the Mowi National Division, Kilmallie, now managed by Liam Macdonald, travel to Rothesay for a fixture against Bute on the first day of the new season.
Lovat, relegated from the Mowi Premiership at the end of last year come to the Canal Parks on Saturday February 14.
Kilmallie are back on the road the week after when they journey to Glenurquhart and their final game of the month is at home to Glasgow Mid Argyll.
