The Corrie Hotel - Thank you and a Happy 175th Birthday!
A huge thank you to all our customers, guests, suppliers and team of The Corrie Hotel for a successful, record-breaking year in 2024.
Thank you to our hotel guests, diners and drinkers from near and far, last year. It means so much to us to us all.
The Corrie Hotel celebrates their 175th Birthday!Thank you to everyone in our team, all of whom share the profit of the Hotel this year - we recently paid out almost £20,000 of our profits as bonuses to the team.
We are also sharing a further £10,000 pounds of our profits among a few of our favourite Arran charities: Arran Mountain Rescue; the Arran De-fib Project; Arran Dogs; and the Isle of Arran Music School. We want to make sure as much of our money and business as possible stays on the Isle of Arran.
Thank you also to our suppliers and contractors from and nearby the Isle, including, in no particular order: Argyll Roasters; Arran Brewery; Arran Dairies; Arran Cheese Shop; Arran Sense of Scotland; Arran Whisky; Ailsa at Bellevue Farm; Jo at Blackfox Framing; Alistair Kincaid of Clydeside Electrics; Fyne Ales; Robin Gray; Simon Horne and Ross Paul Construction for our fantastic beer garden fencing and paving; Charlotte Karsemeijer for our beautiful flowers; Muir Décor for our painting & decorating; George Smith Roofing; Ruth McLaren and Baked by Stacey for our delicious home baking; TJ Ross for our windows; Mark West for our new carpets and refurbishment of our bathrooms; Andy and Jennifer for our eggs from Woodside and many more. We wouldn’t have a business without you all.
Most of all, we want to celebrate keeping the Hotel open for its 175th year. We will be celebrating throughout the year, so please keep an eye out for events and come and join us.
We are locally owned and locally operated, and constantly working hard for Corrie, our community and the Isle of Arran. We strongly believe social face-to-face social interaction is vitally important to keep it alive.
