Subaru has claimed top honours in the 2025 Driver Power brand survey for the second year running, outperforming major global names including Mercedes, BMW, Ford and Tesla.
Long admired for their reliability and build quality, Japanese vehicles traditionally fare well in owner satisfaction surveys and Subaru is no exception. The brand secured first place for reliability by a notable margin of 3.5 percentage points. With a UK line-up focused on estates and SUVs, Subaru also ranked highest for practicality.
The only area where the marque fell short was fuel economy, though owners remained enthusiastic about the brand’s strong and responsive powertrains.
Subaru’s back-to-back Driver Power victories underline the company’s growing reputation among UK drivers, proving that a smaller market share doesn’t mean smaller satisfaction.
