Fort William Reserves Management Team of Olly Stephen, Scott Hunter and Bradley Cameron held an open evening for footballers in the Lochaber area.

The night was very well attended with 34 players there ready for action. An additional 10 had been in contact to say they couldn’t make the first night due to work commitments but were keen to join up with the squad.
The attendees were run through their paces with several drills set up to test passing, first touch, control, pressing, and shooting, finishing with a full pitch match.

All the coaches were delighted with the talent on show and an average age of just 21 years old spread across the 44 potential squad players shows that there are plenty of years of good football ahead for Fort William - with the right coaching and guidance which Olly and his team are looking to offer.
The reserve team are playing in the West Highland Amateur Football League this summer, and fixtures for the league have just been released with Fort William’s first game being away in North West Skye on Saturday April 4.
