Junior athletes tackled the final race in the Lochaber Athletic Club Winter League series with the Leisure Centre Leap, a true hill race, on Sunday February 22.
In the Under 11 age group Iona Rodgers was first in five minutes and nine seconds with Zoe Spinney in second place.
In the race for Under 11 boys Grayson Jeffrey was first in 5:29 with Kyle Macleod in second and Finch Mitchell third followed by Tavish Drysdale, Rory Pratt and Ben Critchfield.
Emily Barker was first in the longer Under 13 race in 14 minutes and six seconds and Caoimh Bellshaw first Boy in 15:04 with Toby Smith in Second.
The overall league placings from four races with three race counters were as follows:
Under 11 Girls: 1, Iona Rodgers; 2, Zoe Spinney; 3, Aiofe Bergin
Under 11 Boys: 1=, Kyle Macleod and Finch Mitchell; 2, Tavish Drysdale; 3=, Rory Pratt, Alistair Cant and Grayson Jeffrey
Under 13 Girls: 1, Carys Rodgers; 2, Emily Barker; 3, Orlaith Shaw
Under 13 Boys: 1, Toby Smith; 2, Caoimh Bellshaw; 3, Kai Tresidder
