Sixth year pupils of Lochaber High School took on a whole new look when they dressed in their best to mark their graduation.
Dodging the rain showers and braving the midges, they lined up for the traditional photograph with for the first time, the snowy peaks of Ben Nevis behind them.
They then joined proud family and friends in the school’s assembly hall where they each took their turn to pick up a ceremonial scroll from Head Teacher Scott Steele, before heading off to a graduation ball in Caol Community Centre. Photograph: Iain Ferguson, alba.photos.
