Campbeltown Lawn Tennis Club is warming up to welcome the community for a fun-filled afternoon of tennis this weekend as it partners with Barclays to host its annual open day.
The event will take place on Sunday (May 3) at the club’s John Street grounds from 1pm to 4pm, marking the start of the new tennis season.
Organised as part of the Barclays Big Tennis Weekend, the free session is open to people of all ages and abilities, with equipment provided on the day. Participants are simply asked to bring along a pair of trainers.
Those interested in taking part are asked to visit the club’s Facebook page to sign up.
The Barclays Big Tennis Weekend initiative sees hundreds of clubs and parks across the UK open their doors, offering free opportunities for people to pick up a racket, take part in games and competitions, and enjoy social tennis.
Sunday’s event promises a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, giving both newcomers and experienced players the chance to get involved and enjoy the sport.
