The A815 has reopened 24 hours a day under new traffic regulations.
The road closed on Sunday evening due to a significant landslip, eventually opening one lane only, and only during the day.
Now Argyll and Bute Council has deemed it safe to open to vehicles during darkness, in a single lane under traffic management.
A council statement said: "The weather forecast is improving over the next few days and we will continue to monitor the slope. Should weather conditions deteriorate, we will review the situation; closures may have to be re-introduced to protect the travelling public."
The situation is still developing, as a significant portion of loose debris and boulders were found on the hillside. Stay tuned for more updates.
