Plans for a house to be built on Seil have been given the go-ahead by council officials.
Ronald and Emma Telfer lodged the proposal with Argyll and Bute Council last month for the site northwest of Dalansaig in Clachan Seil.
The authority has now awarded planning permission, with no representations expressing objection or support having been received from the public during the planning process.
Planning permission in principle for two houses on the site, requested by a different applicant, was granted in November 2024.
Planning permission was then granted, also to a different applicant, last November for the southernmost plot within the development.
A council officer said in a handling report for the latest application: “The proposal the subject of this application is seeking to secure the detailed arrangements for the development of the dwellinghouse on the northernmost plot of the consented development.
“The site comprises an area of ground situated directly adjacent to the B844 public road which forms its western boundary.
“To the north and east are a number of established dwellinghouses with the associated consented site to the south.
“Beyond the site to the south the established residential development of Clachan Seil continues on either side of the public road.
“The application proposes a one and a half storey, pitched roof dwellinghouse of rectangular form oriented parallel with the public road which reflects development within the surrounding area.
“The roofline of the dwellinghouse is lowered at the entrance porch to its front, northwest, elevation with a sheltered patio created to its rear, northeast, facing elevation under a roof overhang.
The report added: “Officers are satisfied that dwellinghouse proposed in the current application is of an appropriate scale, design and finishes which would integrate well within the site, the cluster of existing development and the wider landscape without giving rise to any significant adverse visual impact or privacy conflict with existing and proposed development.”
