The Mull of Kintyre Music Festival (MOKFest) 2026 Glen Scotia West Coast Rocks Concert will headline with multi award-winning band Skipinnish making a welcome return to the festival.
The event on Saturday, August 22, will also feature Heron Valley, with local musician Darren Brown on percussion.
Opening the four-hour concert extravaganza will be the Argyll Ceilidh Trail, on a night promising the full west coast festival experience at Campbeltown’s Victoria Hall.
Skipinnish are a powerhouse of contemporary Scottish music and celebrated a remarkable 25 years in 2024.
Emerging from the heart of the Highlands and Islands, the band has grown into an iconic name on the Celtic music scene, enthralling audiences with its powerful blend of traditional and modern sounds.
Founded in 1999 by Angus MacPhail and Andrew Stevenson, the band will perform with a new line-up for 2026. Skipinnish continue to inspire and entertain audiences across Scotland and beyond.
This will be the band’s fourth appearance at the festival.
The five-day MOKFest has seven ticketed concerts, headlined by artists including Blazin’ Fiddles, Kathleen MacInnes with Mike Vass, Ímar, The Haggis Chasers Ceilidh Band, Slainte Davaar Allstars, Archie McAllister and Friends, Sileas Sinclair, Arran McAllister and Alasdair Murray, Kintyre Schools Pipe Band and Che Martin.
