The Spring Feast took place at the popular restaurant and deli, Little Rock, in Brodick where patrons enjoyed a three course meal provided and prepared by local businesses.
The event was a showcase of the best of Brodick’s hospitality businesses and producers with the food on offer being of the highest quality and presentation standards. Attendees enjoyed welcome drinks provided by Ormidale Hotel, a starter from Douglas Hotel, main course from Auchrannie Resort, vegetarian main from The Parlour, and desserts were provided by Little Rock, Wooleys of Arran, Arran Dairies, Jame’s Chocolates and Arran Cheese Company.
In addition to the delicious food on offer, supporters were also treated to an evening of entertainment, included piping on arrival by Harris McCormack, a Brodick Primary School quiz by Pauline Robertson, and music from Rudi Hunter.

The sell-out event was enjoyed by families with children currently attending school, teachers and staff, and a number of past Brodick Primary School pupils.
A spokesperson from Brodick Parent Council said: “We wish to thank the Arran High School pupils who provided top service for the evening, the businesses that donated to the raffle in support of Brodick village children’s Christmas party, Little Rock for being fabulous hosts, and most all our generous local businesses and suppliers who created an outstanding meal, that truly showcased the best of Brodick’s hospitality.
“A special thanks to the chefs, Jean Demazeux, Craig Beadie, Jamie Mercer, and Chris and Ailie Park.”
The Spring Feast raised £1,500 for Brodick Parent Council which will use the funds to provide swimming lessons, school trips, playground improvements and other activities that will benefit the children. A further £400 was raised in the raffle which will be used to help fund the Brodick village Christmas party.
