Over 500 people made their way to the Nevis Centre to take in the fantastic displays at the 10th annual Lochaber Model and Craft Show.
Organised by local modeller Robert Wilson and a small team the exhibition attracts models makers of all descriptions from across Britain, all keen to discuss their creations with interested viewers.
A wide range of construction media were represented from model aircraft kits to beautifully hand crafted scratch built ships, military vehicle, dolls houses to fairgrounds, many set in beautifully scaled dioramas.

From traditional LEGO, Mecanno and wood to sophisticated electronics and computer printing the hall was packed with highly imaginative contractions, from the huge LEGO model of the World’s largest airliner to a fully operational R2D2 robot from Star Wars - radio controlled to travel up and down the aisle beeping and demonstrating it many accessories to the absolute amazement of visitors.
A regular at the show, the ten foot long HMS Ark Royal wartime aircraft carrier, complete with more aircraft than its present day counterparts can ever hope to embark, once again attracted a great deal of attention, being built by the Air Training Corp Cadets in Claggan over 30 years ago.

Robert Wilson said: "Firstly we would like to thank all the exhibitors and visitors for coming along and supporting the show, without this commitment there would be no show.
"It’s encouraging that we had over 500 visitors through the doors and the financial results are encouraging with the total income exceeding all previous years, which has led us to make the decision to carry on and get a show arranged for 2027.
"After paying all of our bills we still have the grand total of £3500 to donate to our charities and as with previous years two local charities, Lochaber Minds Matter and Lochaber Men’s Aid will both receive £500 and the the remaining £2500 will be donated to the Scottish Charity Air Ambulance."

The Fort William event is deliberately not a competitive show but two trophies are presented for best exhibits in two areas, the judges this year being Stanley and Agnes Cameron who decided the awards should go to: Best display - The Alan Brander Memorial Trophy awarded to Jamie and Mhairi Mackay from Spean Bridge for an excellent display of LEGO construction vehicles and LEGO flowers.
The Alec Wood Memorial Trophy for Best Model Truck Display went to Robbie Holmes from Caithness for his lovely display of Highlands and Islands model trucks.
