Artists are being invited to send in their latest creations to go on show at An Tobar as part of the Mull Highland Games Art Prize.
Organisers say they are looking forward to seeing what artists have been working on recently.
Everything submitted will be displayed throughout July, with a special focus during the week of the Highland Games which this year will be on Thursday July 23.
Paintings, photographs, collages, or any other 2D and 3D works can be entered into the competition.
Rules are that all entries must have been completed within the past year.
Artists are welcome to enter up to three pieces of work, provided they do not exceed a maximum size of 1.5 metres square.
For display at An Tobar, all work must be delivered ready to hang with the following details clearly listed on the reverse: Artist’s name, name of work, year, description, dimensions, and - if going up for sale - the price.
The deadline for delivery to An Tobar is Thursday June 25.
"While we hope to feature as many artists as possible, we cannot guarantee that all submitted artwork will be displayed due to space limitations, but we will do our best. We look forward to seeing your latest creations and celebrating the incredible talent of our island," said organisers.
The purpose of the Highland Art Prize is to promote Highland art on a national scale and raise the profile of local artists working across the Highlands and Islands. Together with a cash prize of £1,000 for the winning artwork, the winning artist will also have the opportunity to mount an exhibition during 2027 in a street-front space at The Briggait cultural hub in central Glasgow, courtesy of Wasps – Scotland’s studio specialists, and the UK’s largest provider of studio and creatives spaces.
The highland Society of London was delighted to announce that the Highland Art Prize would return for a fifth year in conjunction with An Commun Gaidhealach as part of the Royal National Mòd from Friday October 9 to Saturday October 17.
