Drumlemble Primary School welcomed a large and appreciative audience on Tuesday evening, December 9, for its annual Christmas Concert, where pupils from across the school delivered a night of entertainment.
The Early Learning Centre children opened the programme with a lively medley of Christmas songs, including a Makaton rendition of ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’.
The school choir then took to the stage with a musical retelling of the nativity story. They were accompanied by P1-3 pupils, who brought the scene to life dressed as shepherds, angels, wise men and, of course, Mary and Joseph.
A number of impressive solo performances followed, showcasing the musical talents of singers and instrumentalists.
The evening continued with a spirited performance of ‘No One Wraps Like an Elf’ by P1-7 pupils, whose excellent acting and singing skills delighted the crowd.
The event concluded with a well-supported raffle and some festive refreshments.
