Port Appin’s Airds Hotel is on the market for the second time in five years.
The historic hotel, which dates back to the 18th century, has been listed with a guide price of £1 million by Drysdale and Company.
With 11 rooms, a dining area, outdoor seating and gardens, the former ferry inn is being advertised as "one of Scotland’s finest small country house hotels".
The Airds Hotel is just a short walk from its namesake Airds Bay, and currently operates as a four star establishment.
A small property separate to the hotel is also included as owner’s or staff accommodation, complete with a self contained kitchen, two en-suite rooms and a lounge.
Drysdale and Company said in its listing: "The white-washed exterior, traditional slate roofs and landscaped gardens give the property a timeless character, while a programme of sensitive upgrades has ensured the hotel meets modern luxury expectations without compromising its heritage.
"The building flows exceptionally well for boutique hotel operations, feeling intimate yet spacious, refined yet relaxed.
"The hotel’s public accommodation has been curated to deliver comfort, atmosphere and exceptional customer experience. Guests enjoy an award-winning restaurant, panoramic views across Loch Linnhe and long celebrated for its use of outstanding local produce."
The agent also points to the stunning views available in Port Appin as a major selling point, with Lismore, the Mountainous Morvern Peninsula and the waters of Loch Linnhe on the horizon.
Port Appin is hugely popular with travelling tourists, and is the main ferry connection to Lismore.
Drysdale and Company also note the possibility to convert the building into a large family home, adding that planning permission would be required to do so.
The hotel was last sold for an undisclosed price in 2021 by agent Colliers along with Christie + Co. It was bought from its previous local owners of 19 years by Scottish hotel investor Benjamin Andrews.
The property is now open to all offers over £995,000.
