Plants for every corner of the garden from summer bedding to ornamental trees, edible crops to herbaceous borders, pond plants & shrubs. Many of these are grown from seeds, plugs & cutting at the garden centre, with more sourced in-season from Scottish producers.

Spring brings the summer bedding season, the glasshouse over owing with bright and colourful plants for pots, hanging baskets and borders, the rhododendrons and azaleas showing their full vibrant display. Summer comes (hopefully) and the colour continues with herbaceous perennials, shrubs, grasses and trees.
The home is not forgotten either, with a fantastic array of house plants kept year-round. Joining them are our indoor pots, faux owers and a great selection of gift items for any occasion. There’s treats for dogs, birds and squirrel feed. The sundries shop has huge range of garden requisites, including bulk garden materials, plant supports, plastic pots, garden tools etc. As well as a comprehensive range of fertilisers and garden chemicals. This building also houses the ironmongery department, specialising in ttings for gates and fencing. Believing in old fashioned service, nails and fixings can be bought loose, so whether you have a whole fence to replace or a small repair to a gate we can help.
Stockists of garden machinery from Emak (the second largest producer of garden machinery in Europe), our range includes battery and petrol-powered mowers, brush cutters, hedge cutters and chainsaws. Larger items such as ride on mowers and rotovators can be ordered in.
Over three articulated lorry loads of compost and mulch are bought in every year. Peat free and peated composts are stocked along with different grades of bark, farmyard manure and topsoil (at the last count over 20 di erent lines!). Add to this a range of pre-packed decorative aggregates, sands and horticultural grit.

In the Timber Yard & On-Site
A wide range of mostly rough sawn timber is stocked with all the most popular sizes held and other sizes available to order. Monday to Friday we strive to offer a timber cutting service when required and when a suitably trained member of staff is available. Quality fencing materials are stocked: UC4 (in-ground use) posts and strainers, square edged and dressed rails, deer posts and stobs, wirem gate hinges and sundries, fence panels and trellis - the list goes on and on! Sturdy
timber gates can also be bought in & installed.
Of course, we shouldn’t forget one of the central cores of the original business plan…. sheds! Far more than just sheds – summerhouses, garages and log stores as well. All designed and made to order in the workshop, then built on the customer’s site. Solid, well-made buildings that last and last.
